Roasting Coffee with Hardwoods

Bookmark and Share
The wood burning, cast iron, Turkish drum roaster consistently radiates heat and also combines that with the nuances of  specially blended hardwoods to bring out the unique and complex flavors that only wood fired coffee roasting can create.  At Millar’s Wood Roasted Coffee a variety of hand selected hardwoods such as alder, apple, cherry, and maple are used to infuse sweet and fruitful flavors with subtle smokiness. The type of heat that is produced from wood is also very dry when compared to gas. This brings out a much better final coffee product.  Millars wood roasted coffee believes in supporting non petroleum product fuels to roast its coffee. The use of wood to burn as fuel as Millars coffee roasting heat source has a carbon neutral footprint. What that means is the Carbon that is released into the environment is the same weather the tree decomposes naturally or is burned as fuel.
